This site is under our maintenance and after we took over the management asked me to propose and see if we could improve their landscape. Until now they didn't get back to wonder they wanted to implement or not.

My proposal.

250 Ocean Drive

This is the most luxurious place i ever been to. sea breeze. personal yacht. wow! i wish i could own one of it myself. However there's some problem with the soil condition as the soil/sand is pretty salty, not all plant could be able to grow well there. Being the landscape contractor, maintenance take a great part in design as good design need to be sustainable too. thus i come out with high salt tolerance plants.

My design.

This design is implemented and maintain however some plants have been changed due to the environmental conditions and they could not grow well.

21 Shelford Road

this was the first time i went to a meeting by myself. as i m 20, the youngest guy over there, the other contractor looked at me like i's an alien. haha.

it was quite a small area they given us. the reason to redevelop the area was because there was a fallen tree that up rooted the entire soil and it was in a horrible state.

2 Dickson Road

I was asked to design an air well behind the lift and rooftop garden for the spa area.

This was my first successful job. They have implemented it, however there are still problem here and there, like not enough sunlight for the level 1 plants in the air well.

Landscape Design 3. our final project.

Site: Kent Ridge Park

We are required to come out with a Case study review on another park (which we decided to make it Fort Canning Hill Park) and learn some values from it. Therefore, we began our brainstorming for how or what we would like Kent Ridge Park to be. In conclusion, we came out with the poster below showing off the activities the will be going on in the park.

We joined the greenthumbs competition once again. In collaboration with our school final year project theme: Waterscape, we came out with this masterplan with the concept of water!

Hardscape & Softscape

We were given an empty courtyard for us to play around with.

My team mates: JX, Manqing and Charmaine. (they are my FYP teammates as well)

We named the Project, Nature's Ark.

Our concept plan

We also did a model that is to scale to our plans. our model is one of the cheapest and most environmental friendly. As we used toilet paper and satay sticks together with glue, we spent less than $20 on this project :)

Year 2 Landscape Design.

Landscape design 2 took us to Marang trail of Mount Faber. It is one of my most physically challenging project. We are required to do a A1 model and presentation. We had a very big team as the our class is divided into boys and girls. 2 groups. this are my team members and our model.

To design a webpage to present our ideas for Clementi woods Park.

My team consist of JX, Jun Sheng, Calvin and myself.

this was a last minute as we knew about it only at its 2nd last week. the team consists of Jing Xiang(JX) and Justin and me :)
